About the Program
The program began its activities with the launch of the Master’s degree in Production Engineering in February 1994. Since then, it has consistently attracted high demand compared to other programs at the institution, culminating in the award of 445 Master’s degrees by December 2024. The Doctoral program in Production Engineering, introduced in 2011, has produced 91 Doctoral graduates as of December 2024. It is anticipated that the program will confer its one-hundredth Doctorate by early 2026.
The Program Mission
To foster applied research in Production Engineering, with a focus on Production and Logistics Systems, Modeling, Optimization and Control, as well as Quality and Products. The goal is to advance knowledge, drive innovation, and contribute to sustainable societal development.
The Program Vision
To achieve national and international recognition as a center of excellence in Production Engineering, distinguished by the creation of innovative, applied knowledge and the preparation of professionals and researchers who drive societal transformation through sustainable, technologically advanced solutions.
